Sandra Cordon Guridi

Sandra has practiced as a physiotherapist, with a deep interest in sports, in Spain, Belgium and Australia. As a fully certified Pilates Instructor, she has utilised the method in clinical practice in a variety of patients including pregnant women, integrating it with a functional approach for rehabilitation and physical conditioning. Sandra has a particular expertise in the management of long-term recurrent injury presentations, hypermobility, improving overall physical competency and performance.

Personally passionate about sport, fitness and well-being, Sandra has closely studied the trends in health and fitness over the last years. Having completed dry needling and kinesio taping courses, Sandra now integrates that in her day to day practice.

Sandra sees movement as integral to health and wellness and is committed to help people improve their quality of life and performance. She believes that great manual therapy and active rehabilitation are critical for long-term resolution, and that true success is achieved with lifestyle and habit changes, coupled with consistent intelligent exercise. Sandra will ensure that program delivery execution is both safe and effective.

When not at work, Sandra enjoys travelling and being active outdoors. If not cycling, swimming or surfing she can usually be found experimenting in the kitchen. Also, basketball is one of her passions. Sandra has been playing basketball over 20 years and after playing in a semi-professional league in Spain, she just enjoys mixed and women’ social competitions in Melbourne.

Adrian Haughey

Recently moved from New Zealand having spent over 5 years working and managing a Physio and Pilates clinic in Auckland. Originally from Ireland I have a strong musculoskeletal and orthopaedic background having worked with sports teams and in private practice since graduation.

I place a strong emphasis on functional rehab, manual treatments and patient education linked to postural awareness using the Pilates principles. I completed my dry needling and acupuncture post grad course in New Zealand 4 years ago and although I greatly enjoyed my time there I have moved to Melbourne in search of a new challenge to further progress my career.

I have participated in sports from a young age which has made me appreciate the value of physiotherapy in both my life and the lives of my patients. I have played soccer at a semi-professional standard and enjoyed my time playing Gaelic (Irish AFL) both in Ireland and in New Zealand. A keen golfer and tennis player I have found these sports have helped me greatly in my communication and leadership skills as well as enabling me to relate better to our elite athletic clients as well as our keen amateur sportsmen and women.

Andrew believes in manual treatment in conjunction with patient education and exercise prescription to allow optimal recovery and help patients achieve their goals.

Andy has a keen interest in soccer, both in a personal and professional sense. Having played soccer at various levels throughout his life, he was inspired to gain experience in the sport from a physiotherapy perspective. This led to a 3 year stint working for Celtic Football Club as a youth academy physiotherapist, which has rendered him highly proficient at both assessing and rehabilitating a host of sporting injuries.

He is also passionate about professional development and is currently awaiting a Clinical Pilates instructor course

He uses a range of skills including Dry Needling, manual therapy and targeted rehabilitation to help alleviate pain and assist people in achieving their goals.

Continuing to play football with Old Geelong in the VAFA, David has a keen interest in sports from a participation and professional standpoint. He has experience with acute and sub-acute sports injuries from his time providing services to VAFA and VNL teams and will be able to guide you from the day of injury back to full fitness.

If interested, you may also be regaled with stories of travel and adventure if you are brave enough to inquire.

Christine has spent 2 winter seasons working as a physiotherapist in Niseko, Japan, where she gained valuable experience in acute musculoskeletal injuries. As a result, her skill set is strong in the management of knees, including ACL, collateral ligament, and meniscus tears.

Her treatment approach includes a combination of manual techniques and exercise to ensure her clients reach their rehabilitation and health goals in a sustainable manner. Christine is qualified in Clinical Pilates and will often integrate this into treatment.
